Test your knowledge of the track on its 15th anniversary

Always ahead of her time, Missy Elliott was releasing genre-bending, futuristic rap music in the mid-'90s, finally finding international mainstream success in 2001 with the release of her third studio album Miss E…So Addictive.

Sunday marks 15 years since the release of the album's lead single, "Get Ur Freak On." Since then, Elliott has gone on to make even more inventive hip-hop hits, including songs like "Work It" and "Lose Control." Although Elliott took a long break from releasing her own music, she reappeared in 2015 to remind the world of the impact of "Get Ur Freak On" by performing the earworm at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show. Now, Missy is back in the studio, recently releasing new songs "WTF (Where They From?)" and "Pep Rally."
