Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, took the plunge on Sunday — into Lake Michigan.

For the second year in a row, Gaga and Kinney took part in the annual Chicago Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics Chicago.

“We love the city of Chicago and the Polar Plunge for The Special Olympics,” Gaga wrote on Instagram. “These men and women are brave and powerful. Me and Taylor love getting cold in your honor every year.”

Gaga and Kinney joined host Al Roker, stars from Chicago Med and Chicago P.D., and an estimated 6,000 other participants at the annual event, where air temperatures hovered around 40 degrees. A Special Olympics Chicago spokeswoman told the Chicago Tribune that the event raised about $1.5 million.
