Judy Blume’s most recent foray into adult literature, In the Unlikely Event, was a huge hit upon its 2015 release — not least because the beloved author of Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret and other classics always had a handle on adult themes anyway. And just in time for In the Unlikely Event’s paperback release — making it light enough to throw in your beach bag — the book’s jacket has a completely fresh new look, which EW exclusively reveals, below:

In the Unlikely Event follows a woman named Miri Ammerman as she reflects on and tries to make sense of a strange, tragic 1950s winter when series of planes crashed in her hometown — inspired by events Blume actually experienced herself.

The paperback version of In the Unlikely Event is on sale May 3.
