Now starring on ABC’s Emmy-winning drama How to Get Away With Murder, Aja Naomi King’s first job in the acting field was a little less glamorous.
During her Thursday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, King revealed that her first gig out of school was at Disneyland, where they refer to their employees as “cast members.” In particular, King worked on the Indiana Jones Adventure ride, where her job consisted mainly of verifying height requirements and saying, “Right this way for your Grand Adventure.”

King eventually quit the job, making it the first of many times she would quit by simply not showing up anymore — and so her father had to return her costume.
See her describe the less-than-magical experience below, but don’t expect too much dirt: ABC is a Disney-owned property, and King doesn’t want Huck from Scandal to show up at her house “with a power drill.”
