PICK OF THE NIGHT
Fox, 8 p.m.
The farewell season continues piece by piece with its 550th episode. Five-hundred-fifty! Ryan Seacrest really deserves a medal, or at least a very long nap. (Brian Dunkleman, on the other hand …)
THAT’S WHAT SLOUGH SAID
You, Me, and the Apocalypse
NBC, 8 p.m.
To talk to Jamie (Mathew Baynton) about his family history, Jude (Rob Lowe) visits Slough, the small British town where the U.K. Office was set. Unfortunately for U.S. Office fans, Jenna Fischer’s storyline takes her elsewhere as Rhonda tries to make it back to her family in Virginia.
The CW, 9 p.m.
The Ark’s hidden origin story is revealed in this flashback-heavy hour — it wasn’t easy bringing all those surviving space stations together. Showrunner Jason Rothenberg previews the post-apocalyptic thriller’s pivotal episode here.
ONE BIG NOT-SO-HAPPY
ABC, 9 p.m.
Mysterious/Spooky Drama With Alternating Timelines Alert: Joan Allen stars as a politician whose son (who might not be her son!) returns after being presumed dead for 10 years. Oh, and Alison Pill and Matt Saracen Zach Gilford play her other children, who have opposed viewpoints on what’s really happening with their little brother. Intrigued? Read EW’s review.
Ryan Seacrest hosts as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan guide aspiring singers on their way to superstardom.
