Abbi Jacobson to release Carry This Book in October

Broad City star and co-creator Abbi Jacobson will publish an illustrated book with Viking this fall, EW can announce exclusively.

Like her Broad City alter-ego, Jacobson is an artist (in fact, she released an adult coloring book before they were trendy), and Carry This Book will be a whimsical examination of the things real and fictional people carry (or might carry) in their bags.

According to Jacobson’s publisher, the book will tackle such questions as: “How many self-tanning lotions are in Donald Trump’s weekender?” and “What’s inside Martha Stewart’s hand-knit fanny pack?” It’s fun enough to imagine celebrities’ possessions on your own, but seen through Jacobson’s eyes — and pen — we’re in for a rip-roaring ride.

Carry This Bookwill be released Oct. 11.
