Road Games is set in beautiful, bucolic France. C’est parfait, non? Non!!! Indeed, with a serial killer on the loose, the setting for this horror-thriller from writer-director Abner Pastoll is far from perfect.

After young hitchhikers Jack (Andrew Simpson) and Véronique (Joséphine de La Baume) are invited home by a local named Grizard (Frédéric Pierrot), the pair find themselves in an isolated mansion, whose only other inhabitant is Grizard’s fairly weird wife, Mary (Re-Animator star and all-around horror icon Barbara Crampton). It is not to give too much away to say that matters go downhill fast for various characters from that point on.

Road Games opens in New York on March 4 and will also become available to watch on VOD and via digital platforms on that date (the film opens in Los Angeles, March 11).
