Mitch Hedberg, who died in 2005 at age 37, would have turned 48 Wednesday. One fan paid tribute to the late comedian by placing a single doughnut on his grave marker — along with a receipt, of course.

The doughnut and receipt are a reference to one of Hedberg’s more famous jokes, where he ponders why he would need a receipt after purchasing a doughnut. “I just cannot imagine a scenario where I’d have to prove that I bought a doughnut,” he says in the bit, which you can watch below.

Reddit user Rexella posted the photo on the site via Imgur Tuesday, and since then, multiple fans have flocked to the page to share their favorite Hedberg jokes. See the photo below.
