If you ever get gloomy with the state of the world, just remember: Love Actually is still all around us.

Hugh Grant and costar Martine McCutcheon reunited Tuesday night at a black-tie gala in London, where Grant was awarded a fellowship from the British Film Institute.

Grant played Britain’s Prime Minister in the 2003 romantic comedy, while McCutcheon was the junior staff member with whom he falls in love (and kisses — first backstage and then in front of an entire audience after the curtain rises — at a local school Christmas play, which you can see in the scene below).

They weren’t the only Love Actually players in attendance at the BFI event. Bill Nighy, who played rocker Billy Mack, was also there to support Grant on his big night.
