Check out terrifically trashy images of James Purefoy, Michael K. Williams, and Christina Hendricks
Fans of Texas novelist Joe Lansdale have long savored the adventures of his well-meaning, yet somehow always deep-trouble-finding, heroes Hap Collins and Leonard Pine.
How successfully will the pair transfer to the small screen? You can find out on March 2 when SundanceTV premieres the new show Hap and Leonard, which stars James Purefoy, Michael K. Williams, Christina Hendricks, Bill Sage, Pollyanna McIntosh, Jimmi Simpson, Jeff Pope, and Neil Sandilands. But hopes are high, given the show’s creators — writer-director Jim Mickle and actor-writer Nick Damici — were responsible for 2014’s utterly terrific big-screen Lansdale adaptation, Cold In July.
