The '25' singer spoke out for Kesha while accepting the award for Best British Female Solo Artist.

Kesha has landed another high-profile ally in Adele.

During the 2016 BRIT Awards, the 25 singer accepted the award for best British female solo singer of the year and after her speech she said, “I’d like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” Adele said.

She joins a a litany of musicians and stars who spoke out on behalf of Kesha after she was denied a preliminary injunction in her case against producer Dr. Luke.

Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke (born Lukasz Gottwald) to decimate her contract on the grounds that the producer allegedly “sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally abused” Kesha. (Dr. Luke directly addressed the allegations for the first time publicly this week and denied the accusation.)
