Telltale takes a break from the story of its original characters in The Walking Dead universe to spotlight fan-favorite Michonne. And her journey looks no less harrowing, even as she’s separated from Rick Grimes and the other survivors.

Focusing on a time in the comic book series when Michonne disappeared, Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Michonne puts players into the role of the katana-wielding walker hunter (voiced by Orange is the New Black‘s Samira Wiley). But even as Michonne heads out on her own and finds other survivors along the way, she can’t quite outrun the personal struggles of her past.

Check out the launch trailer above for a peek at what Michonne and players will tackle in the debut episode of the three-part series, which debuts on Feb. 23 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC, then Feb. 24 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, and Feb. 25 for iOS and Android devices. And for more, check out the first six minutes of the first episode, “In Too Deep.”
