As Peeta Mellark would say, this is very real.

EW has confirmed that Hulu has cast Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson as the lead in the upcoming comedy pilot, Future Man, from executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Hutcherson is on board to play a janitor, appropriately named Josh, who’s tasked with saving the world after visitors from the future declare him the world’s only hope when it comes to stopping a super-race invasion. During the day, Josh might be a bit of a loner with a lack of self-esteem and no game when it comes to the ladies, but at night, he excels at Cybergeddon, a video game set in a dystopian future. And it’s when his video game character, Future Man, beats the game’s final level that he’s visited by game characters who explain he’s been selected to travel back in time to help save the world.

In addition to starring, Hutcherson is on board to produce the pilot, which was written by executive producers Kyle Hunter and Ariel Schaffir and will be directed by Rogen and Goldberg. Matt Tolmach is also on board to executive-produce.
