The original Full House specialized in end-of-episode tales of morality, or Aesops; despite their faults, the adults of the show always found a way to comfort the kids going through difficult life changes. To find out if the Fuller House cast has still got it, Jimmy Fallon put them to the test on Tuesday’s Tonight Show by having them talk down Donald Trump. Fallon’s Trump impression whined in his bed about possibly losing the Republican candidacy, even after winning the New Hampshire primary, so Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), and Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) came to comfort him.

“Look, the point is you made it farther than anyone thought,” said Stamos. “No matter what happens, you should be very proud of that.”

“You guys are right,” Fallon-Trump said. “I need to stay in the race. Otherwise a Clinton will be in the White House again. I mean, who wants to see something from the ’90s come back in 2016?”

The bit continued and expanded to include the whole Fuller House cast: Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber. There were jokes about Trump using Full House concepts (“We need to build a giant wall. A ban on all Giblers until we figure out what’s going on and we make her pay for it”) and eventually, an entire cast sing-along of the Full House theme song.
