Hester High is all but normal in the new Faking It season 3 trailer. In a bizarre twist of fate, Karma (Katie Stevens) is on the outs with just about everyone except (gasp) Shane (Michael J. Willett), her longtime frenemy. Liam (Gregg Sulkin) says he’s “totally over” their relationship, and her friendship with pseudo-girlfriend-slash-BFF Amy (Rita Volk) is once again on the rocks. Must have been one hell of a summer to flip everything on its head.

Amy’s straight-laced stepsister, Lauren (Baily De Young), is also bringing the drama, auditioning new friends in their living room like the type-A person she is and, later, tearfully declaring she’s moving out.

Though not seen in the trailer, a transgender character will also appear at Hester sometime this season, courtesy of MTV’s nationwide casting call for increased inclusivity on the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, newcomer Elliot Fletcher nabbed the upcoming role, playing a charming transgender teen named Noah.

Watch the trailer below. Faking It returns March 15 at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV.
