Indie writer-director Mickey Keating is hard at work on his fifth film, Psychopaths. The Los Angeles-shot movie, which began filming yesterday, is being described as a sprawling, psychedelic ensemble piece that follows several serial killers over the course of a single night.

Keating directed last year’s horror movie, Pod, and has completed work on two more films: the Lauren Ashley Carter-starring haunted house tale, Darling (out in theaters April 1), and the Ashley Bell-starring action-thriller Carnage Park, which premiered at the recent Sundance Festival. Casting details for Psychopaths will be released at a later date.
