The best and brightest in music were out in full force at the Grammys on Monday, but so was Jimmy Kimmel, ready to knock them down a peg.

In a music-focused edition of his popular Mean Tweets segment, Grammy nominees and fan-favorites like One Direction, Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, and more read insults from the general (“Hey Josh Groban! Suck my d—, ya big tool!”) to the bizarrely specific (“I imagine Wiz Khalifa smells like Biz Markies toilet brush”).

The insult reserved for One Direction — “Don’t understand the world’s obsession with One Direction. What is attractive about little boys with gross hair and skinny jeans?” — was actually found, thanks to keen-eyed fans on Twitter, and has been retweeted upwards of 7,000 times as of this writing. But don’t attack her Twitter notifications — the mean tweet was published in 2012; these days, she swears she’s a fan.

The user who called Blake Shelton a “bloated a–hole,” however? Probably not so much.
