How does a year pass in Broad City? With costume parties, teeth whitening, bathroom karaoke, toilet hook-ups, false pregnancy tests, rats, bongs, finger traps, a whole lot of plucking and shaving — and both versions of The Dress.
The gals of Broad City return Wednesday, and the season premiere wastes no time letting viewers know how Abbi (Abbi Jacobson) and Ilana (Ilana Glazer) spent the eleven months between seasons.

EW can exclusively reveal the opening scene of the third cycle of Comedy Central’s mad genius buddy sitcom, which races through a year’s worth of life events with a quick look at all the ridiculous s— Abbi, Ilana, and their friends got up to in their hallowed lavatories, backed by Lizzo and Caroline Smith’s “Let ‘Em Say.” The slice-of-life montage is exactly like that song “Cat’s in the Cradle,” only with more oral sex.
