There’s nothing like an on-the-fly “yo’ mama” joke to lighten up Litchfield.

On Valentine’s Day, Netflix released bloopers from season 3 of Orange Is the New Black. Short but sweet, highlights include Natasha Lyonne being utterly unable to deliver a line to scene partner Matt Peters, and Lori Petty (Lolly) telling Adrienne C. Moore (“Black Cindy”) that her kosher lunch came from an unexpected place.

The standout moment from the minute-long clip comes to us via Kate Mulgrew, however, who fails to say “I’m back, bitch” with the gravity the line requires because she can’t help but think of herself as a “f—ing Clint Eastwood in drag.”

Season 4 of Orange Is the New Black begins streaming June 17 on Netflix, and you can begin your binge knowing that any and all cliff-hangers will be resolved: the series was recently renewed for seasons 5, 6, and 7, with showrunner Jenji Kohan continuing at the helm.

Episode Recaps

Orange Is the New Black

Jenji Kohan’s absorbing ensemble dramedy, based on Piper Kerman’s memoir of the same name, takes viewers inside the walls of Litchfield, a minimum security women’s prison where nothing’s as simple as it seems—especially the inmates.
