Everyone knew exactly where Justin Bieber was Monday night when he performed the Grammy-nominated “Where Are Ü Now” alongside Jack Ü, a duo made up of Skrillex and Diplo.

Bieber started solo, taking the stage to sing an acoustic rendition of “Love Yourself.”

His relationship with his guitar didn’t last long though: The singer literally threw the guitar down before running to the next stage to join Skrillex and Diplo for a rock-heavy version of their EDM track.

“Where Are Ü Now” came out in February 2015, and was the first single Bieber had released since 2013. He previously performed the track sans Jack Ü at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he also sang “What Do You Mean” before breaking down in tears on stage.

The track appears on both Jack Ü’s Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü and Justin Bieber’s Purpose. It was nominated for Best Dance Recording along with songs including Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar’s “Never Catch Me” and Galantis’ “Runaway (U&I).”
