George Clooney has only one thing to say about his time on The Facts of Life — it was bananas.

The Oscar winner taped a special message for Hallmark’s Home and Family, which will pay tribute to the ’80s comedy on Monday with a visit with stars Charlotte Rae (Edna), Lisa Whelchel (Blair), Kim Fields (Tootie), and Geri Jewell (Geri).

Clooney, who played sexy handyman George Burnett on the sitcom from 1985 to 1987, recalls how Rae tried to inject some levity into the set by finding ways to make fruit fun.
