UPDATE: The songs have been removed from the SoundCloud page. The owner of the Death Cab for Yeezy account tells EW that it was “due to copyright,” but that they are “currently working on uploading them somewhere else.” We’ll update this post with more information as it arrives.

EARLIER: You want to live where Kanye West meets Death Cab for Cutie — because, as a mash-up album that popped up on SoundCloud earlier this week proves, it’s a pretty great place.

Although neither Death Cab nor West seem to be responsible for the mash-ups, the former did post a link to the album on their official Twitter account Thursday night just hours after West premiered his latest album, The Life of Pablo, via a live stream of a massive listening session at Madison Square Garden.

So it’s not quite Death Cab-made, but it is, apparently, Death Cab-approved — and for good reason: All six tracks, collectively titled Death Cab for Yeezy, each elicit a, “Huh, that actually works!” reaction. A highlight includes West rapping “Jesus Walks” over the gentle guitars of Death Cab’s “I Will Follow You Into the Dark,” a combination that gives the already-emotional singles a powerful new life.
