Have your horror anthology movie-watching tastebuds been whetted by last year’s Tales of Halloween or the now-available-to-watch-on-VOD Southbound? Then you will be pleased to know that there is another collection of fun-sized terror tales on the horizon. The film is called Holidays and boasts eight stories in all, each one offering a frightful twist on a different notable calendar date.

Produced by Distant Corners Entertainment in conjunction with XYZ Films, the film’s segments are directed by Kevin Smith (Tusk), Gary Shore (Dracula Unbound), Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Sarah Adina Smith (The Midnight Swim), Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact), Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate), Anthony Scott Burns (Darknet), and the filmmaking duo of Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer.

The latter pair made 2014’s fabulously horrible Hollywood parable Starry Eyes and, here, tackle the upcoming date of Feb. 14 in their segment “Valentine’s Day.” Judging by a new, exclusive clip from the tale, we’re going to assume the pair’s contribution has a very different tone from the Garry Marshall film of the same name from a few years back.

You can see that clip from Kölsch and Widmyer’s segment of Holidays, above.
