At the very least, Aziz Ansari is a master of having his show renewed at Netflix.

The comedian announced on Twitter that his Netflix half-hour series Master of None will return for a second season, though the wait will be a long one: Dev Shah and his friends won’t return to the streaming service until 2017.

Master of None followed Ansari’s Dev along with a group of friends navigating the ideas of modern love, race, age, and more while living in New York City. But the show’s unique on everything from adult relationships to their parents to the pressures of first dates to the wonders of owning a robotic therapy seal earned the show a spot on the best-of-2015 lists from EW TV critics Jeff Jensen and Melissa Maerz.
