The show will 'look at pop culture through a fanboy lens,' according to press release

One show on AMC about geek culture isn’t enough for Kevin Smith — the actor and comedian will be launching Geeking Out, a late-night talk show focusing on pop culture from a fan-friendly perspective, with his co-host, actor Greg Grunberg. AMC announced Thursday the 30-minute series will include the pair talking, rolling clips, and conducting celebrity interviews and out-of-the-studio segments.
“AMC has been my TV family for five seasons of Comic Book Men now, so I know that Geeking Out is in the perfect, fan-friendly network hands,” Smith said in a statement. “I can’t wait to lose fluids on the airwaves of my favorite channel over the genre gems we’re gonna get insider access to due to gregarious Greg’s bonafides!”
