The Transformers are ready to roll out in a new game coming to mobile platforms this year.

Transformers: Earth Wars, from Backflip Studios, will debut in the second quarter of 2016 and be free to play (though it will feature purchases within the game app). Players can choose a side and either fight as the Autobots or Decepticons , and original voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, will return as Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively.

The game promises strategical combat scenarios, where players will be fighting the opposing force to their chosen side with art inspired by the Transformers Generations Prime Wars trilogy and dialogue from comic book writer Simon Furman.
