Ted Raimi joins cast as Ash's childhood best friend

The Six Million Dollar Man is going to be a dad.

Lee Majors has signed on to play the father of Ash (Bruce Campbell) in season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead, Starz announced on Wednesday.

Majors, who starred in The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy will appear as Brock Williams in multiple episodes of the horror-comedy series’ second season. He recently finished filming two movies, Almosting It and Do You Believe.

Ted Raimi, who appeared in various roles in the Evil Dead movies (which were directed/written by his brother, Sam), will join the cast as a series regular in the role of Ash’s childhood best friend, Chet Kaminski. A veteran of such shows as Xena: Warrior Princess and SeaQuest 2032, Raimiappeared in three Spider-Man movies as well.

Ash vs. Evil Dead, which is overlorded by Sam Raimi, premiered last October. The 10-episode second season will debut this fall.
