House of Cards season 4: Exclusive poster sees Frank and Claire facing off
For three seasons, Frank and Claire Underwood have been the perfect one-two punch, knocking out politicians left and right in their ascension to the Oval Office. But in the upcoming fourth season of the Emmy-winning series, viewers may see a civil war in the Underwood household. EW has an exclusive look at the season’s dark new poster, and the Underwoods are definitely not looking very united as they stare coldly straight ahead.
“Frank and Claire continue their pursuit for power, battling everyone in their way, including each other,” Netflix tells EW in an exclusive preview of season 4. As the poster indicates, the new season will build on the events of the season 3 finale, in which Claire (Robin Wright) tells Frank (Kevin Spacey) that she is leaving him, after he berates her by saying she’d be nothing without him. Clearly, Claire is not just going to take that lying down.

Could this continued “pursuit of power” mean that Claire will run for higher political office in season 4?
The new installment of House of Cards begins streaming March 4 on Netflix.
Ballots, betrayal, and barbecue combine in Netflix’s original drama, which stars Kevin Spacey as cunning congressman Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his equally ruthless Lady Macbeth. Based on a 1990 BBC serial of the same name.
