Wendy’s gonna say it like she means it when it comes to red carpet fashion, with the news that she’s set to launch a brand-new style-focused series on BET.
EW can exclusively reveal that Williams – whose self-titled daytime talk show is currently in its seventh season – will host a red carpet fashion commentary series called Wendy’s Style Squad, which will kick off later this month with a wrap-up of the styles worn during the Grammy Awards.
Highlighting Williams’ candid “Say It Like You Mean It” style, the first one-hour installment of Wendy’s Style Squad will feature a panel of fashion experts and co-hosts including Bevy Smith, Lloyd Boston, and Robert Verdi.

And there’s more: A total of six Wendy’s Style Squad episodes are slated to air during the 2016 awards season, tracking the fashion at the BET Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards. (Cross your fingers that a celebrity rocks something truly crazy this season, so that Wendy can give them her trademark read.)
News of Williams’ fashion commentary series follows last year’s shakeup on E!’s Fashion Police after co-hosts Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne departed the series. Now, the series stars hosts Giuliana Rancic, Melissa Rivers, and stylist Brad Goreski, with special 2016 co-hosts including Nene Leakes (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), comedian Margaret Cho, and reality star Kris Jenner.
Wendy’s Style Squad premieres Feb. 16, at 9 p.m. ET on BET.
