Super Bowl 50: Key & Peele revive excessive celebration sketch on The Late Show
While the Denver Broncos had plenty to celebrate about at Suoer Bowl 50, it wasn’t Peyton Manning or MVP Von Miller charged over and over again with excessive celebration. It was Hingle McCringleberry.
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele brought back their “Excessive Celebration” sketch from Key & Peele for The Late Show‘s post-Super Bowl show. McCringleberry’s end-zone antics returned, much to the chagrin of Peele’s referee character.

But McCringleberry and his fellow Portland Tigers weren’t the only ones partaking in the antics. Peele’s ref, while initially reticent to have to deal with McCringleberry’s hip thrusts, football eating, and more, actually gets in on the action. Watch above as he mimes his way through a flagged play, and just whether he and McCringleberry and ever see eye-to-celebrating-eye.
