  • Pierce Brosnan is diving into Ernest Hemingway’s bibliography. The former James Bond actor has been cast in Across the River and Into the Trees, from director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale). The story, adapted by Peter Flannery and Michael Radford, is about a terminally ill American officer who meets a countess in Italy after World War II. Brosnan and Campbell will reunite after teaming for The Foreigner, in production now, and Goldeneye in 1995. Shooting is expected to commence in Venice in October. [The Hollywood Reporter]
