George Lopez has 'white-man problems' in exclusive first look at 'Lopez'
The TV Land comedy is slated for a March 30 debut
- TV Show
Almost nine years after the finale of George Lopez, the comedian is returning to TV with Lopez, a brand-new self-titled sitcom from TV Land.
Despite the similar titles, Lopez will present a very different version of the actor: The single-camera comedy will follow Lopez as he struggles to navigate the worlds of race, class, and fame.
Watch the exclusive first look video above to see the comedian get confronted about both his “white-man problems” and his positive ratings among African-American and Hispanic demographics.

Lopez will serve as an executive producer, along with Michael Rotenberg (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Troy Miller (Arrested Development), and Silicon Valley’s John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, both of whom will also write for the series.
Lopez premieres March 30 at 10 p.m. ET on TV Land.
