CBS orders Matt LeBlanc series I'm Not Your Friend to series

Matt LeBlanc keeps racking up projects. The former Friends star and newly minted Top Gear host has secured a pilot order with a series commitment for I’m Not Your Friend at CBS, EW has learned.

The multi-cam sitcom, from husband-wife writing tandem Jeff and Jackie Filgo (That ’70s Show), follows a contractor who discovers that raising kids is more challenging than he thought after his wife goes back to work. LeBlanc and the Filgos will executive produce alongside Michael Rotenberg (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

LeBlanc’s Showtime/BBC Two sitcom, Episodes, will air its fifth season this year. He will assume Top Gear duties when the show returns to BBC and BBC America in May.
