Arielle Kebbel signs on for 'Fifty Shades Freed'
Arielle Kebbel has joined the third movie in the Fifty Shades series.
The Ballers actress has signed on to play Gia Matteo in the upcoming Fifty Shades Freed. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are reprising their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, and in the third book in E.L. James’ best-selling series, Gia is the beautiful architect tasked with designing and building Christian’s new home in Seattle, much to Ana’s annoyance.
Kebbel recently appeared on UnREAL, The League, and The Grinder, and she’s also known for her roles in Gilmore Girls and John Tucker Must Die.
Director James Foley, taking over for original director Sam Taylor-Johnson, is filming the two follow-ups to Fifty Shades of Grey back-to-back, with the second film, Fifty Shades Darker, scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. Fifty Shades Freed will be released on Feb. 9, 2018. James’ husband, Niall Leonard, is writing the screenplay for both films.
