Not long after it became one of Broadway’s hottest musicals, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Grand Central Publishing announced that this spring would see the release of Hamilton: The Revolution, a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the show as well as the life of Alexander Hamilton. The book will chronicle the history of the show from its beginnings as a 2009 White House performance to becoming a smash Broadway hit six years later, and will include the complete lyrics with annotations from Miranda himself.

While the book won’t be released until April 12, Miranda has been updating fans on its process via Twitter. Thursday, he shared a sneak peek of the first copy of Hamilton: The Revolution, hot off the presses.

How did Alexander Hamilton write like he was running out of time? Maybe we’ll finally learn the answer.

Correction: This post originally reported that the book will include the full score. It will include the complete lyrics, but Alex Lacamoire will be publishing the sheet music separately.
