Grey's Anatomy scoop: Camilla Luddington on dark midseason premiere
Good thing Grey’s Anatomy fans have had time to catch their breath during the winter hiatus, because when the show returns Feb. 11, it’s straight to the drama.
“We are not easing you back in to Grey’s Anatomy,” star Camilla Luddington teased at the Entertainment Weekly SAG Awards party last week.
After the midseason finale ended with a series of cliffhangers, fans will now get the answers to those burning questions, including Jo’s (Luddington) response to Karev’s proposal.
But the majority of the episode — which is directed by Denzel Washington — will focus on Meredith, who gets brutally attacked by “someone you would least expect,” making for a dark episode.
“It’s really actually very emotional,” Luddington said. “In the table read, it was heavy. It was heavy filming it. We kind of have to support each other in those times.”
Grey’s Anatomy returns Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Meredith. Alex. Bailey. The doctors are definitely in on Shonda Rhimes' hospital melodrama.
