Nintendo is expanding into the mobile market with Miitomo this year, and the House of Mario has offered up some more details about how and when players can access it.

As the company has said before, Miitomo will be launching in March for iOS and Android phones and tablets, marking Nintendo’s first mobile app. The app is all about social connections, allowing players to use Miis to interact with other users. The app is also set to play into Nintendo’s other big March launch, the My Nintendo rewards program.

Players can begin to pre-register for Miitomo on Feb. 17 by signing up for the new Nintendo Account service, which is meant to unify players’ Nintendo experience across Nintendo platforms, social media, and mobile devices. (Registering before Miitomo releases will also give users a bonus in the app.) The rewards program, the successor to the Nintendo Club program, will offer rewards to players based on their interactions with Nintendo’s games, consoles, apps, and other services. Nintendo Club employed surveys and other means of granting players currency to spend on different rewards, but Nintendo has not fully outlined how the new program will function.

Miitomo will be the start of Nintendo’s mobile outreach, and the company continues to promise that a total of at least five mobile apps will come out by March 2017.
