It’s official — the Fast and Furious saga will race into theaters again and again.

Vin Diesel and Universal Pictures have announced release dates for the ninth and 10th films in the franchise, coming respectively in 2019 and 2021.

Diesel first teased the reveal Tuesday on Instagram. “Happy Toretto Tuesday… P.s. The studio has asked me to release some very big ‘Fast’ news… Give me a minute though, for I am still in that Xander state of Mind,” he wrote, referring to his work on xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

A few hours later, Diesel followed up with another photo, writing, “Xander returns…. As most of you know I like to stay in character for the most part when given the opportunity to make magic. However, it was Toretto Tuesday and the studio gave me big news to share… So I will share it…”

He then posted the news: “Two decades, 10 films, one saga.” The ninth film will be released on April 19, 2019, and will be followed by the 10th installment on April 2, 2021.

Diesel had previously said he wanted the next film in the franchise, Fast 8, to be the first installment in a new trilogy. That film, said to be set in New York with some scenes potentially being shot in Cuba, will be directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and is scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 17, 2017.
