Even picture books can have unreliable narrators.

Though they often seem to be a book’s utmost source of authority, narrators can sometimes have ulterior motives. That seems to be the case with Julie Falatko and Tim Miller’s forthcoming Snappsy the Alligator (Did Not Ask to Be in This Book), a bright picture book featuring a main character whose participation in the story is less than enthusiastic.
