Kinnaman is an established actor in his native Sweden, and is perhaps best known in the U.S. for his role on AMC series The Killing, in which he played detective Stephen Holder, as well as his role as Alex Murphy in the 2014 RoboCop reboot. The actor is set to explode Stateside, however, thanks to his role as antihero Rick Flagg in the upcoming Suicide Squad (2016), a part originally set to be played by Tom Hardy, who was forced to drop out.
Netflix has yet to reveal any details about Kinnaman’s role on House of Cards, but we’ll find out soon — season 4 begins streaming March 4.
House of Cards
Ballots, betrayal, and barbecue combine in Netflix’s original drama, which stars Kevin Spacey as cunning congressman Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his equally ruthless Lady Macbeth. Based on a 1990 BBC serial of the same name.
