Diehard Harry Potter fans aren’t the only ones looking forward to J.K. Rowling’s big-screen spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them — several Hogwarts alumni are also waiting with bated breath.

At the Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Studios Orlando over the weekend, Harry Potter stars including Rupert Grint, Matthew Lewis, and Evanna Lynch were on hand to catch glimpse of the upcoming film and give their reactions.

“It’s exciting to see new witches and wizards that we don’t know,” says Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, in a video from the event. “I just think it looks so wonderful.”

“I didn’t know what to expect,” adds Grint, who of course played Harry’s best bud, Ron Weasley. “It looks amazing.”

And Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, says he’s “really excited to go back into that universe,” this time “as a fan.”

The trio aren’t expected to appear in Beasts, as the film is set 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter saga. Eddie Redmayne stars as magizoologist Newt Scamander, opposite Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Colin Farrell. Rowling wrote the screenplay, and David Yates is directing.

Fantastic Beasts is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 18. Watch the video with Lynch, Grint, and Lewis — as well as Katie Leung (Cho Chang) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) — above.
