USA’s summer critical breakout Mr. Robot is adding a new cast member — and her role hints at a major storyline in season 2.

Grace Gummer (American Horror Story, Extant) has joined the hacker drama in a series regular role.

She’ll play Dominique (Dom) DiPierro, “a young FBI field agent investigating the Evil Corp Hack. She uses her instinctive skills to try and track down the fsociety members and find answers.”

When showrunner Sam Esmail was at the Television Critics Association’s press tour earlier this month, he dropped only the slightest hints about the new season, adding that some of the first season’s secrets haven’t even been revealed yet. In season 1, law enforcement wasn’t much of a presence in the show, but it sounds like an FBI investigation will figure prominently in the new season. (Also, fun fact, Gummer is Meryl Streep’s daughter(.

Mr. Robot recently took home the Golden Globe for best drama series and costar Christian Slater won for best supporting actor. The series returns this summer.
