An upcoming auction featuring archival material from Mario Puzo hopes to make an offer potential bidders can’t refuse.

Onine bidding will begin on Feb. 11 for the Mario Puzo Archive, featuring a number of materials releated to The Godfather films and novel, including a 744-page draft manuscript of the original Godfather novel, both handwritten outlines and storyboards for the novel, letters written between Puzo and director Francis Ford Coppola about all three films in the franchise, and much more.

An online catalog offers a look at some of the items on sale, including many of the scripts, outlines, and letters featuring handwritten notes from Puzo and Coppola, materials tracing the progression of The Godfather II from its intial drafts to the final product, and pages featuring handwritten scenes and dialogue from the first two Godfather films.
