As you may know, the Feb. 5 episode of Dr. Ken will reunite Community stars Joel McHale and Danny Pudi with Ken Jeong.

And now it appears you won’t have to wait much longer for another Greendale alum to exchange punchlines with Jeong on his ABC family/medical comedy. Jim Rash — a.k.a. Dean Pelton from the beloved community college comedy — will guest-star in an episode slated to air in early spring, EW has learned exclusively.

Like McHale, Rash will play an aggressive attorney on Dr. Ken. In the episode, titled “Ken’s An Expert Witness,” Rash takes on the role of Devon Drake, a slick and smug lawyer who is hellbent on proving that Ken is not qualified to be an expert medical witness on a case and destroys his self-confidence in court.

Rash will be making a, well, rash, of TV comedy guest appearances in early 2016. In addition to Community, he will pop up on the Feb. 5 episode of Fox’s The Grinder, as well as an upcoming installment of CBS’ The Odd Couple.

He also recently signed a deal to co-write a horror-comedy film for Fox with Nat Faxon; the pair won an Oscar for penning the screenplay for The Descendants

Last June, Community ended a six-season run (the first five on NBC, the sixth on Yahoo), leaving fans finger-crossing for that much-discussed movie. “I really, really want to do a Community movie,” Jeong, a.k.a. Chang, told EW last fall. “I don’t know when, but everyone knows I will always be up for it.”
