Julianne Hough never has any trouble on her feet, but the Dancing With the Stars alum does trip over her words a bit when it comes to a certain line in Fox’s upcoming Grease: Live.

Hough, who’s playing Sandy in the production, stopped by EW Radio to talk about the meta line in the show that’s giving her trouble.

“It’s a line that I should be able to deliver because it’s so me,” Hough said.

The line comes when the main cast is in the diner, and Sandy says, “Who wants to watch a bunch of amateurs in a dance contest on live TV?” referencing the school dance being filmed on national TV scene that comes afterwards in the show. Of course, the meta line was added to Fox’s updated version as a nod to both the musical being broadcast live on television and Hough’s past on Dancing With the Stars. But even though the joke has so much to do with Hough, she admits, “I mess it up every time.”

“The diner scene is the death of me for sure,” Hough said.

Grease: Live airs on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.
