Iggy Pop announced Post Pop Depression — his new collaborative album with Josh Homme — last week, and now the all-star lineup, which also includes members of The Dead Weather and Arctic Monkeys, has confirmed plans to hit the road. The 20-date itinerary takes the group to a number of major U.S. cities and a handful of European locations including Berlin, London, and Paris.

Homme teased the tour, which a press release describes as “a very limited run of one-time-only live performances,” in a recent New York Times story about Post Pop Depression. “There won’t be hardly any shows, and they won’t be in big places, and you won’t be able to get a ticket,” Homme said. “So almost everyone won’t see it. It will be like trying to catch smoke in your hands. And that makes it even better. It will be special, and it will be over in the blink of an eye.”

Pop made his live debut with Homme on last Thursday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and has since released two singles, “Gardenia” and “Break Into Your Heart.” North American presales begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time (password: GARDENIA) and become publicly available Saturday at 10 a.m. local time.
