Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are thinking big for Spider-Man. The upcoming superhero reboot will be released in Imax 3D in the U.S. and abroad, the companies announced Tuesday.

Directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and starring Tom Holland (The Impossible) as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, the film is scheduled to hit theaters July 7, 2017.

“There’s so much about Spider-Man — including the webslinging action — that lends itself perfectly to the IMAX screen,” said Josh Greenstein, president of worldwide marketing and distribution for Sony Pictures, in the announcement.

Spidey’s Imax history dates back to Sony’s first Spider-Man movie, which was directed by Sam Raimi and released in 2002.

Not much has been revealed about the plot of the new Spider-Man outing, which will connect to Marvel’s shared cinematic universe for the first time. According to the writers, it won’t be an origin story.

Holland will debut as the webslinger in Captain America: Civil War on May 6.
