You never know you needed a Pikachu-Sherlock Holmes mash-up until now. The Pokémon Company Japan unveiled a trailer for its newest game: Great Detective Pikachu: The Birth of a New Duo.

The game was announced back in October 2013, touted as a mystery the user solves alongside a talking Pikachu donning a deerstalker cap akin to Holmes’. The trailer shows as much, with a strange, gravelly-voiced Pikachu and music that sounds very similar to that in the BBC series Sherlock.

Great Detective Pikachu: The Birth of a New Duo arrives on 3DS via Japan’s eShop on Feb. 3. It’s unclear whether the game will see a North American release, and The Pokémon Company did not respond to EW’s requests for comment; however, Poké-junkies can download the original trio of GameBoy games — Red, Blue, and Yellow — on their 3DS on Feb. 27. A bundle of the games will also be released.
