For those who didn’t hear, Winter Storm Jonas hit the East Coast this weekend, covering cities like New York City and Washingotn, D.C. in a snowy blizzard. Sometimes the reality of weather can be hard to communicate across coasts, especially when the West Coast of the United States happens to be much sunnier than its counterpart. Jimmy Kimmel and Chris Pine did their part to bridge this East-West gap, turning snow day school closings into a serenade on Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Pine fit unwieldy school names (Charles J. Hudson School, Aquinas Montessori School) into the tune for “Let It Snow.” In a fun twist, one of the schools Pine sings is named after everyone’s new favorite Founding Father (Alexander Hamilton Prep Academy), even though Pine revealed in a recent EW Tumblr takeover that he still hasn’t seen the musical Hamilton just yet.
