Angry Birds trailer: Jason Sudeikis gets his feathers ruffled

The new trailer for Sony and Rovio’s animated Angry Birds movie still doesn’t quite reveal what makes the birds so angry, but it does feature one avian character living up to the title in a major way.

Red, the appropriately named bird voiced by Jason Sudeikis, runs a little hot. He gets annoyed by soccer-playing chicks, cruel classmates, friendly neighbors, and sneezy moviegoers alike, which doesn’t bode well for his social standing.

On the other hand, his curmudgeonliness might just prove useful when a landing party of green pigs with dubious intentions — led by Bill Hader’s Leonard — arrives on his island home. Check out the trailer above for more.
